We are living in an aging population! In the US in 2005 there were 36.8 million people 65 or older - 12% of the population. In 2050 there will 86.7 million people or 21% of the total population. In California, there are 3.9 million seniors, the highest total of any state!

A Hot Meal with Warm People!

Welcome to one of Pine UMC's "Inter-Generational Ministries". Every first Saturday of the month, the young adults prepare a free and nurtrious lunch for the some-what older adults. The Lunch and Activity take place at 11:00AM downstairs in the Pine UMC social hall. A guest speaker is arranged to provide a talk on a (definitely) interesting topic. Partial funding for this program comes from the UMC General Board of Discipleship. Contact Narissa Lee for more details.



"Senior Support Luncheon"
The last Tuesday of every month

The Senior Support Luncheon meets on the last Tuesday of every month. All seniors are welcome. The luncheon meets at at the Kimochi Board room in Buchanan Mall in San Francisco's Japantown. The topics a broad range of issues pertinent to older adults in San Francisco. There is a $8.00 fee to cover the cost of the lunch.



"Prime Timers" Small Group Ministry
Every Second Friday at 10:00am - Location: May and Don Iwahashi's Home

All Older Adults are welcomed to join this ongoing small group. This small group is a wonderful place to hang with other Older Adults and deepen your relationships with one another and Christ. Contact the church office for more details.
